YelloSKYE is an Aerial Intelligence Company that delivers “Ground Truth to the Desktop”. YelloSKYE digitizes the construction life cycle of real estate and infrastructure assets and delivers analytics for the construction industry.

YelloSKYE captures data primarily with drones and other sensors. It layers value by using custom-built algorithms, machine learning and graphic processing software on a combination of its state-of-the-art cloud computing platform and a partner third-party platform.

We will deliver 2D & 3D digital models, high-resolution aerial views and other valuable information about our client’s assets. In addition, we also create World Class Videos, Virtual Tours and other Aerial Intelligence. This enables them to gather incredible insights for monitoring construction, the quality and assurance levels of the asset, error identification, measuring and comparing critical points, adherence to safety protocols, having a conversation with stakeholders, and many more value-added features. In addition, clients can download data in industry-standard formats which can be used in AutoCAD and other BIM Software to integrate into their internal workflows.

YelloSKYE is closing its first round of funding (Seed Round). It is looking to aggressively add value and build a professional world-class organization. The sales / Business Development Executive will be a critical hire as he/she will work closely with the Head of Sales, Senior Leadership and other internal & external stakeholders to make YelloSKYE No. 1 in the Industry.

We are looking for an experienced GIS Engineer. A geographic information system (GIS) Engineer should be able to create, manage, analyze, and map all types of data and connect data to a map, integrating location data (where things are) with all types of descriptive information. He/she provides a foundation for mapping and analysis that is used in various projects.
GIS engineer helps to understand patterns, relationships, and geographic context. The benefits include improved communication and efficiency as well as better management and decision-making.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop and implement systems and databases for geospatial data
  • Standardize geographic data
  • Research and conduct tests on new research tools
  • Perform geospatial modelling and spatial analysis
  • Review GIS data for accuracy
  • Build, update and maintain databases and GIS software and hardware
  • Administer and troubleshoot applications and GIS solutions

SKILLS

  • Ability to create and modify geographic data from a variety of sources such as text files, hard-copy maps, GPS data, and field notes.
  • Ability to translate or convert data from external GIS file types
  • Possess strong IT skills.
  • experienced with writing GIS scripts in Python
  • Can problem-solve individually and is highly detail-oriented.
  • Data capture, data transfer, data storage, querying the data, analysis and presentation of data
  • Good knowledge of GIS desktop software and data management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively configure data
  • Experience with various technology methodologies and applications
  • Detail-oriented and analytical thinker
  • experience working with GDAL, QGIS and ESRI Arc Suite
  • Knowledge of multiple programming languages
  • Ability to process and analyze data
  • Collaborate with a Strong sense of initiative, ownership, and urgency and drive other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth

COMPETENCIES

The ideal candidate should have experience navigating computer systems as well as geographic software and data

WORK EXPERIENCE& QUALIFICATION

  • 1-7 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s and Associate Degree in Computer Science
